Janet and Michele's Friendship
Pallies
Janet and Michele have been closer than sisters since childhood.
They love each other so much they worked summers during high school at the beach in the OBX, modeled for an agency in Virginia together, and eventually chose to make Nags Head their permanent home.
They lived for years within 5 miles of each other without realizing it.
But the reconciliation was amazing - "Pally!!",
they both yelled when they saw each other.
They've been close and in touch ever since finding each other again ...
looking out for each other when times get tough and lonely.
During this 80s Ladies OBX Weekend photo shoot, the gals were outside The Kitchen Salt House and it started raining - as so often has happened between them,
Michele reached over for a helping hand, Janet's cowboy hat, to cover her.
What an image to capture the true nature of their friendship!
Who could ask for more than that from a friend, or, a pally?
